Orange Hat Development Squad |
|
| Home |
This squad is an entry level for swimmers into the club. The entry portal is usually through the club’s teaching programme. Swimmers are invited to attend an intensive course to assess their swimming standard.
This course also gives the swimmer a flavour of lane swimming to help him/her to decide if they want to progress with swimming as a sport. Based on this assessment the swimmers can be invited to join the Orange hat squad.
However, if an intensive course is not available or a need arises, a swimmer may get a direct invite into the Orange hat squad.
Typical swimmer age should be between 7-10 years.
