This is a new squad with the emphasis on swimming at a high standard with a core group of swimmers at a certain age and level of maturity.  It is also an entry into swimming teaching pathway of the club.

At second level in education

Squad Aims

• Progress towards Blue Hat squad entry criteria
• Attend 2 core evening sessions per week
• One morning session is encouraged
• Should cover between 2500m and 3000m per session
• Work towards assistant swimming teaching award
• Master technique and skills over the four strokes
• Increase levels of endurance and speed
• Improve stretching and flexibility knowledge/skills
• Responsibility for training equipment
